see you on the flipside

i see no advantage to dipping your toe in the water
if the other side is your goal
the waves crashing hint at the coming storm
dive in
or spend precious moments on the shore
contemplating how or why
there is no try
merely the will to jump swim thrive
at the moment
life is dark
happiness is elusive
and aloneness is an ending
on the other shore
love perhaps
a feeling
rich with hope
ripe with potential loss
and
every
thing
is
about
love
