The last thing I recall about ai, was the calls for regulation. But our governments had no idea what the big guys were doing inside their ai blackboxes. There was one group trying to open-source the basic building blocks of AI. It was a great idea. They kept telling us, “AI is not going to take your jobs.” They lied.
