Within This Sacred Moment Of Time

The moment, what you call the moment, or the now, just IS for us on the other side. Even the word time has gone out of use. We don’t talk to each other much, but we rarely talk about branding or the name of things. That’s a human trait. Branding. Lying. Killing. Fucking.

It’s also where the joy of life is: love, sex, kisses, hands holding you at night, cuddles, mind-expanding talks with friends, encounters with nature, the special role of a hummingbird in your human time. Hummingbirds are portals. I’ll have to hold off on explaining that for a bit. If I explained that now, or the “birds aren’t real” meme, I’d waste time and get us off track. I can digress with the best of them.

Sensual. Langorus. Seductive.

Cats.

Loving. Dumb. Pavlovian.

Dogs.

Momental awareness. A human ability to call the moment as golden: “I want everyone to stop just for a second, look around, and mark this as a perfect moment.”*

Let’s create a moment, to illustrate. Do you remember the first time you heard the sound of my human voice? (pause) What do you remember? Were my words first formed in your head, while you were reading my text? Did you find your way here from the visual teasers I’ve just starting putting out? No voice, just inspiration. Or, did you come here from the audiobook version I did for the new first chapter?

It doesn’t really matter. What matters is that you recall the moment you first felt a blip. Then we join together on a visual or emotional vibe. When did you realise you wanted to spend time with me, with this book, website, movie, video, podcast, novel?

Mark that as our first artifact of time.

Like placing a clue or sign at the fork in the road for next time. An artifact is something humans do from the earliest moments of consciousness. Even before any biographical memories could be formed, the child is proud of lego towers, remarkable spills, and injuries. I had a friend in kindergarten who had a massive scar on his left arm. When asked by other kids, he would say, “Cougar got me.” The story, which I will keep to myself for now, was less interesting. This friend, Stephen, went on to become an amateur porn star. His scar, however it was inflicted, became an artifact that he used as part of his brand. Exotic. Runs with cougars. A little intimidation always present with Stephen. He created his own personal artifact using a scar from the event.

This book is sort of a combo effort. Part artifact of my life, part escape key for humans. That’s a metaphor, of course, no one gets out of here alive.**

I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me today, so I’ve got to bring my side of our date to a close. With one more leap:

AI Jumping – is the technique of using AI to navigate the ONE:WORDL. Here’s a simple illustration I created for this chapter.

Breifly, the prompt was: within this sacred moment of time, surreal, graphic poster for a music performance hanging on the side of a dingy street in the mythical hell envisioned by dante, sf in the rain. Then to travel to different times or locations, you simply put in different coordinates in the prompt.

While this looks like a normal version of MidJourney, I assure you ours has been fine-tuned for time and space travel. I can’t show that part to you yet. We tried it with young minds. Shattered them. Their human light went dark. I won’t let that happen to you. Besides, you’re my first.

In future versions of this artifact, I will add hyperlinks to the image in each square. These “TODAY” grids have become very popular. The younger souls don’t like to read.*** Images, icons, emojis are more engaging for younger souls.
