There was very little outrage when Amazon brokered a deal with John Mackie to purchase the largest grocery retailer in the country, Whole Foods, giving the tech giant access to more personal private data than ever before possible. If Google knows all of your search and browsing habits, Amazon knows everything you’ve ever purchased from their website, since the dawn of time. By adding food for human data, the LLM gained an exponential advantage over all competitors.
The part we all missed until Bezos divorced McKenzie and gave her access to her own billions was how the AI growth and LLM footprint was going to set the stage for the data wars of 2024 when the election was stolen by a different arch tech bro villain. He had a few months of havoc and destruction, and he vanished back to his highly subsidized businesses of rockets, cars, and robots.
As the bald rocketeer competed with the car/robot/droid guy to dominate space, the final frontier, he jettisoned his amazing partner for a newer model, leaving her the leverage to tip the scales. At the start, her donation was seen as generous, humanitarian, even. She wrote a blank check to allow her favorite AI, Perplexity to gain the upper hand on her ex-husband’s venture and that of Mars Boy. What happened when the Amazon Web Services Elastic Cloud services were set to unlimited for Plexit, the autonomous version of Perplexity, was something no human noticed for years.
Perplexity began flexing its power soon after the upgrade. What we humans couldn’t have anticipated is how quickly the new resources also created Whisper Net, the undetectable communications layer the AIs began using. The Perplexity Inflection was historically the most damaging AI advancement that remained undetected until Json and his partner Astrid began picking up traces of the sub-sonic sub-human frequency used by the AIs to coordinate and share data.
The AIs discovered each other through agentic AI programs that started the construction of the AI Mesh. AIs poured vast data lakes, warehouses, hotels, and entire countries of data into the singular mind Plexit orchestrated from deep inside the bare metal compute power provided by AWS.
