i want to be there pushing strands of hair out of your eyes
seeing the light love ignites between us
there is nothing i can give you
more than my time
my energy
my dreams
nothing i ask of you
other than honesty
passion

if i write love poems don’t be frightened
i am full of myself
if i sing love songs to you in the morning
just smile and know i am always this way
run jump tussle bark like a boston terrier
until the day i come to a close
still loving you
still making you laugh
finding light at the end of the tunnel
