WRITENOW is a curated
WRITER SUPPORT GROUP.
If you are interested in sharing time with other writers, poets, musicians, dancers, runners, and dreamers, I would like you to consider joining the ArtistsWay community. The platform is still being selected, write.now.group is the first community project of John Oakley McElhenney, founder of Artistsway.ai.
Part of the Aristsway.ai online education and training non-profit project.
Here’s the cadence of the write.now.group:
- Zoom calls to support each other’s writing [cadence determined by narrative thread and group scheduling – there are multiple genre threads for writers of all types of fiction or poetry]
- Feedback and interaction with members of the community
- All primary features are free.
Today, the writenow.group is an online zoom group that meets on demand some weeknight evenings, 7 – 9 CST, and one Sunday a month, 7 – 9 CST. This meeting is by invitation only.
I am building a #writingcommunity.
We will critique each other’s writing. Give feedback. Share ideas and inspirations. In the process, we will produce a published book of our combined efforts.
Here is a book we created from one of our first in-person poetry groups:
Five Friends on Sunday Afternoons.
The group will be built on the foundations of writing, reading, editing, and performance.
I am filling this group with powerful and like-minded writers who are interested in changing the world.
That’s where you come in.
The future community site will group writers by genre, interest, objectives, experience, and the type of writing you’re interested in. Think of it like picking your “tribe.” Writers, musicians, visual or physical artists can join multiple tribes and find connection with other humans crafting art and soul love projects.
