LISTEN: The Happy Cashier Podcast is LIVE

We all want to be loved and to love deeply. It’s part of what makes us human.

Standing in the sea of beautiful people in search of wellness, longevity, and organic produce, I understand the flow of life. People watching is one of my hobbies. God has created some amazing humans. And how those humans find one another and create happy lives together… Well, most of us are still trying to solve this human equation.

All life is suffering. Heaven on Earth. How do you find happiness?

I find my own human heart expands when I am “in service” of others. My ego begins to crumble under the weight of the new setting, from six-figure executive to entry-level “team member.” I am here to serve. Serve myself. Serve you. And wax poetic as I wonder at life’s variety passing by in infinite configurations. Infinit levels of joy or sadness, distraction or presence.

I am present. I am listening to you. I am listening to what you’re eyes are saying, what your voice imparts, the words you use, and in those first few seconds, it’s obvious the “awakened” people are also connectors. The dead are glazed-over staring at phone screens or talking on their AirPodPros.

I am standing here in my own story, tuning into your frequency. Do we connect? Do we pass without much interaction?

Learning to tune into a higher-level of communication is about being present with yourself first. Finding a peace and balance in your own life and calming of the monkey mind. Others are walking around in their own fog of distraction, mood, and storytelling.

To open to someone else, it’s important to quiet your own story so you can hear what they are saying as they approach. They have goals and dreams. Ideas of what do to with chard and cress and rhubarb. I am a conduit. I am grateful. I am beatific.

“How is it going?” I ask.
