sliver moon

the earth and waves have changed
winter arrives and shuts down momentum
outdoor ecstasies more guarded and bundled
and i feel the loss of a muse
not imagined
real
touchable
lick kiss squeezable

a sliver of a moon
appears
just before dawn
waves whisper
i am dreaming awake
in a liminal second
of delightful opening
