Mary Moon
A synthetic voice answered the phone, “Hello, this is Mary. You can speak in complete sentences and I will be able to respond via this app.”
“Um, hello. This is Jason.”
There’s a moment of silence. I guess the app is doing it’s thing.
“Hi handsome,” the robot voice says. “It’s late.”
“I can’t believe I’m calling you… Crap. I don’t know how to do this.”
Pause. Robot voice, “It’s okay, Jason.”
“I’m afraid to go home. I don’t want to.”
Pause. Robot voice. “Do you want to come over?”
“Oh please, yes. Thank you, God.”
